#And I hated that once a week, every week, my heart did crazy things in my chest because I suspected he might be him.#(Ooh Please) This part was when they hated each other and she has a crush on him. I didn't see the need to exaggerate their hate. Also, bad guy turning good is just too cliche. He wa...

I hope it's not too late to review this one. I give it a two star rating. It's not my favorite trope so my rating might be biased. This book felt like reading it ends with us by Coleen Hoover all over again. There might be no signs of physical abuse but it's just sinister. The plot was predictable w...

I had mixed feelings about the book. I really loved the complexity of the characters and the slow burning love, which undeniably made it a page turner.

Not my typical choice but wasn't a complete waste of time. It gave telenovela vibes. Rich boy has a crush on a poor girl. I felt l...

So, this was an interesting read! 🤔 I'm wondering, though. Emilia was quite intelligent in high school, so why did the author make her life that sad? Why did she have to be poor? Sometimes, I hate damsel-in-distress stories. I believe the storyline would still have been impeccable if she had something going for her, like more stability, a bit of independence, and the ability to take care of herself.
