Sometimes I Lie
by Alice Feeney
About This Book
Amber wakes up in a hospital. She can’t move. She can’t speak. She can’t open her eyes. She can hear everyone around her, but they have no idea. Amber doesn’t remember what happened, but she has a suspicion her husband had something to do with it. Alternating between her paralyzed present, the week before her accident, and a series of childhood diaries from twenty years ago, this brilliant psychological thriller Is something really a lie if you believe it's the truth?

This book was a breeze, very easy to follow through and especially enjoyed the twist. Having started the year with The Silent Patient for our book club, I thought this was well executed compared to The Silent Patient. However, it was through the discussion that I realized its just the same. Thanks guys!! Mliniconvince!😁😂 But I enjoyed the read, this being the author’s debut novel, I liked the writing and the twist!!

I still feel the main culprits are the paren...

I DIDN'T LIKE THE BOOK. It’s not sometimes I lie, she freaking lies all the time, a pathological liar. My husband doesn’t love me anymore, she lied. Her narration is completely untrustworthy. The book is a slow starter, and it took all I had to not add it to my DNF pile. The book is not thrilling bu...
